B.Sc Nursing is a 4 year undergraduate programmes available in nursing colleges across the country. While studying students have to undergo practical clinical on job training every year as part of the study. At the end of the fourth year, 6 months internship training is included in the programme. Nursing colleges are either associated with hospital or college authorities are required to arrange for practical training in big hospitals. To work as a registered nurse, one has to get registered with a state Nursing Council after graduation.
